Job description
This position is responsible for providing nursing care in the facility as permitted through the College of Licenced Practice Nurses Alberta (CLPNA) full Scope of Practice and/or as delegated by the Resident Care Manager or Clinical Practice Lead. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible to ensure that the clients are continuously provided a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
The LPN will be responsible for supervising the frontline staff and ensuring that direct support is provided to staff so that they have the necessary tools and knowledge to provide quality support, and delegates tasks as required. The LPN will liaise with the necessary professionals, guardians, and/or trustees, in order to ensure that the individuals receive quality care.
