Grounds Laborer

Job Details: Job Location: Lee Canyon Resort

• Las Vegas, NV, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Position Overview: Laborers support the day-to-day operations of the resort through hands-on construction, maintenance, and snow removal tasks. This role is physically demanding and requires individuals with proven experience in labor-intensive work such as shoveling, material handling, or construction. Laborers help ensure a safe and functional environment for both staff and guests by keeping resort facilities and grounds maintained year-round. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform heavy physical labor including shoveling snow, raking, lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Assist with construction and maintenance projects around resort facilities and grounds. Support snow and ice management efforts, including shoveling walkways, stairs, roofs, and other areas. Safely operate hand tools and basic equipment. Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure safety for staff and guests. Follow instructions from supervisors and complete daily assignments efficiently. Report safety concerns, hazards, or equipment issues promptly. Complete daily logs or reports as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or other physically demanding roles is required. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, especially snow and ice. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Dependable, hard-working, and safety-minded.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects up to 75 lbs. Ability to perform strenuous physical activity for long periods, including bending, shoveling, and standing. Must be able to work in extreme cold, snow, and high winds. Comfortable working at high altitudes for extended periods.

Availability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for resort operations.
