Kitchen Production Staff

Kitchen Production Staff (Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available) If you’d like to get your foot in the door at a company where you can grow and develop your passions, start your career at Jungle Jim’s in our Production Kitchen! In our Production Kitchen you’ll assist the Chef by preparing party trays and helping with deli salad and catering production. You'll be part of a dedicated, hard-working team that works in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical. Do your part to maintain a clean and organized environment for all. Plan and direct food preparation to minimize food and supply waste. Cook or directly supervise the cooking of items that require skillful preparation.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older. Must be friendly and a team player. Work environment includes continuous interaction with co-workers in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work indoors and outdoors. Typical elements of this job are physical in nature. Engage in standing/walking 6-8 hours at a time. Ability to maneuver weight up to 50 pounds.

Schedule may entail evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must pass a required criminal background check.

Preferred Skills

Previous food preparation experience preferred. Knowledge of proper cooking techniques. Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices. Intermediate cooking and knife handling skills.
