Possessing exceptional friendliness and verbal communication skills, this individual will develop and maintain respectful, (yet professional), relationships with a highly engaged golfing membership here at Algonquin. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: Manage services of members and guests in main clubhouse locker rooms. Maintain orderly and high standards of cleanliness and readiness. Greet members and their guests – assuring that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained. Executes shoeshine services. Job Duties: Performs sanitation duties of locker rooms Ensures the safety and security of all members’ and guests’ personal property Issues lockers, keys, towels, etc. to members as needed Maintains a list of occupied lockers; provides a billing list to the accounting office Maintains an inventory of supplies, toiletries, and neatly folded towels Receives and greets members and guests by name Inspects locker area to ensure proper appearance, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety Works with management to resolve all member and guest complaints Assures that tasks are completed as required Maintains and stocks refreshment stations in locker rooms Ensures that the shoe cleaning/shining services are carried through in a timely, attentive, and professional manner Enforces established rules, regulations, and policies – as directed by the Board of Directors Assures that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed Communicates with Pro Shop regularly, (and via Clubessential), to know who is playing Assigns/professionally labels lockers for guests during tournaments Completes other appropriate assignments directed by Clubhouse Manager Reports to: Clubhouse Manager Qualifications: Candidate Qualifications: Candidate should have 5 years of customer experience in the hospitality industry Committed to cleanliness and high levels of personal and professional hygiene Natural ability to smile often, while maintaining positive eye contact with members and coworkers
