Floor Tech

The Environmental Floor Tech is responsible for all tile floors care, baseboards, stairwells, corners and carpeted areas of the hospital. Perform stripping, waxing and buffing of floors and shampooing carpet as needed. Removes medical and non-medical waste from patient and non-patient care areas, as assigned throughout the hospital.

Assist in cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture throughout the hospital. Disinfects surfaces and areas in the cleaning process including patient and on-patient care areas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies and monitors PAR level of supplies. Cleans and maintains equipment as applicable.
