Preventative Maintenance Technician – Class C Location: Erie, PA, 16501 Job Description The PM Maintenance Technician – Class C is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This entry-level role involves inspecting, servicing, and making minor repairs under supervision while adhering to safety and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and report findings to senior technicians. Assist with basic repairs and replacements of components such as belts, filters, and lubrication. Maintain accurate maintenance records and update logs as needed.

Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working with tools and equipment. Support other maintenance team members as needed. Keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance procedures. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
