About the Role

Prepare and paint buildings, parts, assemblies, facility items, and equipment. Work Performed: Using the necessary equipment, prepare any item for painting. Perform hand and spray painting of new and old building structures, plant equipment, tools, furniture, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and finished products. Operate line striping machines, chipping hammers, portable sand blast equipment, power sanders, spraying, and drying booths or related equipment.

Change filters, nozzles, hoses, as required. Surface preparation includes cleaning, sanding, chipping, sand or water blasting and patch. Follow all facility and state requirements for paint use, storage and disposal Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial, residential, or industrial painting.

Knowledge of surface preparation techniques, including scraping, sanding, patching, and crack repair. Ability to match colors and mix paints accurately. Experience applying paints and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment. Ability to safely use and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators.

Knowledge of and ability to work with various paints, coatings, adhesives, and APCD-approved chemicals. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. Summary Pay Range: $21.00 - $33.41 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
