Construction Estimator

Kirk Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in evaluating project opportunities and developing accurate estimates that help bring large-scale construction projects to life.

What You'll Do

📋 Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements 📋 Prepare complete cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and production costs 📋 Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations 📋 Collaborate with company leadership to assess project risks, scheduling, and overall feasibility 📋 Maintain current pricing information and estimating databases 📋 Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs as needed 📋 Assist with bid preparation, proposal development, and project turnover meetings 📋 Work closely with operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction Qualifications ✔ Previous experience in construction estimating, project engineering, or a related construction role ✔ Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents ✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills ✔ Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications ✔ Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy ✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills ✔ Experience with Timberline/Sage Estimating or similar software is a plus Why Join Kirk Corporation?
