Want the opportunity to build a Dynamics 365 automation capability from the ground up rather than inherit someone else's framework? We are seeking a D365 CRM Test Automation Specialist to establish and lead automated testing for a critical Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform.

This is a unique opportunity to define the strategy, build the framework, and leave behind a sustainable capability that will continue to deliver value long after the contract concludes. Working closely with a CRM Developer, Test Analyst and key business stakeholders, you'll introduce automated regression and end-to-end testing across the platform using Playwright, Power Platform Playwright samples, Azure DevOps and .

NET. You'll help the team improve release confidence, reduce regression risk and embed quality engineering into the delivery lifecycle. Key activities: Define and implement the initial test automation strategy for a Dynamics 365 CRM environment Establish and extend the Power Platform Playwright samples as the foundation of the automation framework Build automated regression coverage for critical CRM business processes Develop reliable end-to-end, API and integration tests across the Dynamics 365 ecosystem Introduce unit testing for plugins, custom APIs and custom components alongside the CRM Developer Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and release processes Improve quality visibility through meaningful reporting, coverage analysis and release-readiness metrics Reduce manual effort and strengthen confidence in platform changes Document frameworks, standards and operating procedures and provide knowledge transfer to the broader team Support manual testing activities when required to help meet delivery deadlines Skills and experience required: Strong experience implementing test automation for Dynamics 365, Power Platform or other enterprise applications Hands-on expertise with Playwright and modern automation frameworks Experience establishing automation capabilities from scratch rather than maintaining existing suites Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps Experience with API, integration and regression testing approaches Proven experience integrating automated testing into Azure DevOps pipelines Strong JavaScript, TypeScript and/or C# skills Experience diagnosing application, environment, data and automation failures Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and communication skills Highly Regarded Experience with Power Platform Playwright Samples Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or Azure certifications Experience in financial services, healthcare, insurance or other regulated environments Experience building sustainable automation frameworks and quality engineering practices in Agile delivery teams About Avant Avant is Australia’s leading medical defence organisation, proudly supporting medical professionals for over 130 years.
