Position Title: Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Upland Hills Health

• Dodgeville Hospital Campus Role & Department: Physical Therapist in the Therapy & Wellness Center Department as well as some work in our schools and home care areas Hours & Shift: Full-time (1.0 FTE) day shift position, Monday through Friday daytime hours, some weekend coverage Role Responsibilities: The Physical Therapist will design, organize, conduct and/or supervise the performance of subordinate personnel in medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs and education The physical therapist evaluates, records and reports patient problems and progress for effective communication with other members of the rehabilitation team Assists in the development of new services/programs as needed and assesses needs for such Work areas will include primarily outpatient services but could include some work in other clinical areas such as inpatient, skilled nursing, home health and work in the schools Qualifications: Candidates must be a graduate of an APTA/AMA accredited curriculum program Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the State of Wisconsin or board eligible Ability to plan, direct, implement and evaluate Physical Therapy treatment services in each of the areas that they would be working Prefer candidates with some previous experiences but new graduates are welcome to apply Candidates should have a solid and well-rounded understanding of multiple areas of therapy care and have a full understanding of quality patient care Interest in professional growth as demonstrated by attendance at continuing education programs and participation in professional organizations Ability to direct, implement and report on effectiveness of therapy treatments Previous experience with the Microsoft Office Suite software programs is beneficial Prior experience using the EPIC medical record system is preferred but not required Employee Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packages available for both part and full-time employees!
