Position Overview

AB Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026 –2027 school year in South Dakota. This role follows the school district calendar and supports students across K–12 (specific placement discussed during interview).

Responsibilities

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations using standardized assessments. Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Provide consultative support for behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs. Contribute to MTSS and intervention planning. Maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications

Master’s, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. South Dakota licensure (or eligibility). School-based experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a counselor, school psychologist, or teacher in a school setting Possesses a State of South Dakota certification and Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) Possess State of South Dakota certification as an Academic and Mental Health Evaluator Why AB Staffing?
