Auto Body Shop

Description Scranton Collision, a division of the Pompey Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the repair of damaged vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

Inspect and assess vehicle damage. Remove and replace damaged parts or components of vehicles. Repair dents, scratches, and other defects. Weld and bond metal parts and structures. Apply primer or paint as necessary. Perform quality control checks and ensure work meets customers’ expectations and industry standards. Document and record work completed.

Communicate updates to body shop personnel, managers, and customers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of auto body shop experience. Proficient in using tools and equipment. Knowledge of auto body repair methods Ability to work with various types of vehicles. Ability to meet deadlines.
