Residential Group Home Manager

Overview

AVIDD Community Services of NJ is seeking an experienced Group Home Manager to oversee a residential home supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Shift Schedule: Sunday 7am-3pm, Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm. Location: Mt Tabor, NJ 07878 Responsibilities: Supervise DSPs, Assistant Managers, and residential staff.

Create and manage staff schedules. Oversee daily care for individuals with IDD. Support personal care (hygiene, mobility, feeding, medication oversight). Transport individuals to appointments. Maintain Therap documentation and electronic records. Participate in ISP meetings and care planning. Manage home operations including petty cash and resident funds.

Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support. Ensure compliance with NJ DDD regulations.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required (Associate’s preferred). 5+ years group home or residential management experience (IDD required). Valid driver’s license. Strong leadership and staff supervision experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
