Able to connect with a variety of people and personalities High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) - you just get it Lifelong learner- receptive; always looking to improve Excellent sales instincts Passionate about American-made functional art Self motivated and dependable - you’re on-time and ready Availability on weekends and holidays Passion for a hobby or interest outside of work What you’ll do: Provide a welcoming and memorable experience for all visitors to our store Become a product expert via ongoing product training, showcasing our brand’s quality and functionality to customers Deliver exceptional service in a boutique selling environment Act as a local guide for all things in and out of our store Keep our store and merchandise looking their best and ready to impress Other duties as assigned, which may include tomahawk tossing and/or knife sharpening after passing in-house certification Compensation & Benefits: Base wages starting at $20/hr DOE + 3% commission on all retail sales (often averaging >$25/hr and up) Consideration for monthly bonus (tied to store performance-to-budget) $24/hr sharpening base wage, after completing in-house certification 401(k) + 4% company match* Generous employee discount + friends & family discount* Discount programs with partner organizations such as Kuhl Paid sick leave (for all Colorado-based employees) Full Time** only: comprehensive health, dental, vision & accident insurance; dependent care FSA* *Eligibility waiting period applies **Full Time defined as 30+ hrs/wk.
