Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Work involves maintaining financial records, analyzing accounts and other routine accounting documents.

May assign, coordinate and direct the work of other account clerks and assists with accounts receivable. Performs independent judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
