The candidate should have strong engineering interests and demonstrate excellent ability to build intuitive, high-performance 3D interaction workflows.
Main duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive 3D modules for Windows applications, including scene navigation, object selection, picking, measurement, ROI definition, and trajectory editing.
- Develop CAD geometry visualization and processing functions using Open. Cascade and related 3D frameworks. Integrate point clouds, meshes, CAD geometry, robot models, and robot trajectories into a unified interactive 3D environment. Develop robotics simulation and digital-twin workflows using NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Omniverse, including robot and environment setup, sensor simulation, and trajectory validation. Optimize rendering and interaction performance for large point clouds, meshes, and complex 3D scenes. Perform integration with back-end modules, robot controllers, 3D vision systems, external communication protocols, and APIs. Troubleshoot and resolve 3D visualization, geometry-processing, simulation, and UI-related issues, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience using the Microsoft Windows platform and .NET framework.
- Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and Python.
- Hands-on experience developing interactive 3D applications, including object selection, manipulation, camera control, and real-time scene updates ( must have ).
- Proficiency with Open. Cascade for CAD geometry import, visualization, topology, and geometry processing ( must have ).
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim / Omniverse for robotics simulation, digital twins, or virtual commissioning (strongly preferred).
- Experience with 3D visualization frameworks such as OpenGL, VTK, DirectX, WebGL, or similar.
- Strong understanding of 3D transformations, coordinate systems, meshes, point clouds, and computational geometry.
- Experience handling common 3D/CAD data formats such as STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, and PLY.
- Experience with multi-threading, performance optimization, and GPU-accelerated visualization is preferred.
- Experience with robotics concepts such as robot models, TCP, coordinate frames, kinematics, and trajectory visualization is preferred.
- Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Familiar with RESTful APIs and XML/JSON data serialization.
