Introduction The Sales Support Specialist will provide high-quality operational and administrative support tocustomers and the sales organisation, ensuring efficient handling of customer enquiries, accurate order processing, and strong collaboration with sales, logistics, and technical teams. This role contributes to customer satisfaction and the achievement of commercial targets by maintaining timely communication, reliable documentation, and up-to-date sales data.
Work location: Numansdorp, Netherlands.
What you'll do
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and CRM, providing professional and timely responses. Process sales orders accurately in the ERP system, ensuring correct pricing, delivery terms and documentation. Prepare quotations, order confirmations and commercial documentation in cooperation with Area Sales Managers and product specialists.
Coordinate with logistics, production and warehouse teams to follow up on order status, deliveries and backorders. Handle customer complaints and returns, coordinating investigations and corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers where required. Contribute to process improvements and standardisation of sales support workflows to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Who you are
Essential Skills and Requirements Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service or order management in B2B environments. Experience within lighting, electrical, construction or related industries is advantageous. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders and commercial documentation.
Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems and confident use of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders. Service-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving attitude, able to coordinate corrective actions and follow up on issue resolution.
