Dockhand/Retail Associate

Retail Associate / Dockhand Do you enjoy working outdoors, helping people, and spending your days on the water? Join the Explorus team and experience one of California's beautiful lake destinations while providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Retail Associate / Dockhand, you'll play an important role in creating memorable experiences for visitors by assisting with retail sales, boat rentals, marina operations, and guest service.

This is a hands-on position that's perfect for someone who enjoys an active work environment and thrives in a team setting.

What You'll Do

Welcome guests and provide outstanding customer service. Assist customers with retail purchases and accurately process transactions. Prepare, launch, retrieve, and secure rental boats. Assist with boat and equipment rentals during our busy summer season. Lift, move, and transport boats, motors, and other marina equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail and dock area. Answer questions about fishing, boating, and lake recreation. Follow all marina safety procedures and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Friendly, energetic, and dependable team player. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift at least 20 pounds and perform physically active work. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Fishing and boating knowledge is preferred. Must be able to swim.

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule during peak season. Pay $17.50–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
