Facilities Maintenance Technician III-IV

The Facilities Maintenance Technician III performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of City facilities and equipment including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs and maintenance.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician IV performs skilled and highly skilled tasks related to the maintenance, repair, installation, and inspection of City facilities, equipment, fixtures, and systems. This position assigns and monitors work, reviews completed tasks, provides technical direction, and ensures compliance with applicable codes, safety regulations, and operational standards. This position trains others in the use of specialized tools, equipment, and control systems.
