Job Responsibilities

Serves as the first point of contact to personally greet all customers and valet park vehicles. Provides a safe and secure environment as a First Responder in all areas of The Garlands’ community. Serves as liaison between The Garlands and emergency personnel, including the fire department, paramedics and 911. Certified in using the AED & performing CPR.

(required training provided) Responds to medical emergencies by taking appropriate and immediate action to assist the individual(s) in distress. Completes building security rounds. Provides an array of services to Members (e.g. unloading vehicles, delivering packages and mail, transportation, dog walking, washing cars) Assists the Maintenance department with the snow removal, when necessary.

*Some weekends and holidays may be required Qualifications Proven strong customer service skills Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience and understanding A current driver’s license in good standing Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Capable of learning a variety of safety, security and emergency preparedness measures and be able to respond calmly and professionally to all situations Excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, attention to detail Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems Experience working in or with Police or Fire Department may be helpful, but not required Physical Requirements:
