A Bagpipe Instructor teaches students how to play the bagpipes, focusing on musical techniques, performance skills, music theory, and repertoire development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individual and group bagpipe lessons. Teach fingering techniques, tuning, and maintenance. Develop lesson plans based on student abilities. Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations. Assess progress and provide constructive feedback. Introduce music theory and traditional repertoire. Encourage regular practice and skill development.
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in playing bagpipes. Teaching or instructional experience preferred. Strong communication and motivational skills. Knowledge of music theory and performance techniques.
