After School Tutor (Substitute)

Job Summary

Under the immediate supervision of the ASES Coordinator and overall supervision of the Superintendent/Principal, provides tutoring to students in core subject areas, and insures the safety, welfare and behavior of students in and out of the classroom.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Meet a rigorous standard of quality by meeting one of the following: (Attach proof if you hold one of the following) o Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or o Possess an Associate’s Degree or have completed at least 48 transferable semester units from an accredited institution; or o WUESD's Competency Exam or through a formal local academic assessment (knowledge of and the ability to assist in instruction, reading, writing, and mathematics) Please attach 2 letters of reference/recommendations.
