Title: Substitute Paraprofessional Location: NLC (James Madison) and BTI (Northgate Plaza) Schedule: Varied Classification: Substitute Salary: $16.15 per hour Benefits: This position is not eligible for benefits POSITION SUMMARY: The substitute paraprofessional will provide support and supervision to students and assist the teacher with day-to-day functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

other duties may be assigned Assist students with learning activities under the direction of the classroom teacher Provide individualized or small group support to students Maintain a positive learning environment Supervise students during non-instructional times such as lunch and recess Assist in managing classroom behavior QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Strong communication skills Ability to form positive relationships with students Positive attitude focused on student growth and development Must be able to pass a background check EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent
