• Anaheim, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $18.67 - $28.42Hourly, Job Shift: Day, SHOP HELPER JOB DESCRIPTION Summary The Shop Helper assists with various transportation and service shop duties. Primary responsibilities include keeping the shop clean and organizing and accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments.

Moving vehicles and units at the beginning and end of each day to allow full access to the shop Positioning and displaying equipment as needed, where needed Emptying all trash containers in the warehouse, restrooms, and yard Mop, sweep, and clean all oil spills in both yard and shop Pickup and delivery of items as directed by the supervisor Receive delivery of products and equipment Shipping and receiving duties include: Receiving equipment shipments, confirming the accuracy of the documents, and delivering paperwork to the transportation department and sales coordinators.

Receiving batteries, chargers, and attachments and processing paperwork as above. Request customer names for received equipment and accessories, and tag equipment. Tag all received products and equipment with the date received, customer name, model, and serial number before storing them in the proper area. Make decal(s) Southwest Toyota.

Lift ID numbers on equipment as directed Keep all equipment areas clean and organized by type of equipment Assist in removal/ disposal of trash and wood when receiving equipment Additional Duties as required Steam cleaning rental equipment, used equipment, and customer equipment after repairs Charging stock batteries and rotate charging all electric units Starting and operating all IC units to keep batteries charged Installing batteries in rental equipment Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following: HS Diploma or GED Ability to lift, pull, and/or push 50 lbs on a regular basis Forklift Certification Good driving record Attention to detail Proven ability to multitask and stay focused Good organization skills.
