This role is responsible for documenting patient encounters in real time, maintaining accurate electronic health records, and assisting with scheduling and other clinical administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Accompany physicians during patient visits and accurately document medical histories, findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions. Document procedures, prescriptions, physician orders, laboratory tests, and imaging studies. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely electronic health records. Schedule and reschedule new and existing patient appointments.

Manage the patient waitlist by contacting patients when earlier appointments become available. Schedule follow-up appointments at checkout and document any inability to schedule follow-up care. Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members.

Perform other duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Qualifications
