Maintenance - Coolant & Oil Tech (2nd Shift)

Job Title: Maintenance Coolant / Oil Technician Reports to: Maintenance Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt; Hourly Schedule(s): Monday

• Friday SECOND SHIFT: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm EST Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Check and fill oils. Check and fill parts washers. Check and fill coolant. Maintain proper coolant concentricity. Maintain bacteria levels below acceptable levels. Maintain PH levels of coolants. Work with suppliers to keep inventory of washer, coolant and oils. Keep records of coolant and washer concentricity’s Respond to shift leaders requests for coolant changes Coordinate waste water removal Perform PMs on Coolant Recycler Keep Area of responsibility clean Qualifications: Basic Computer skills Valid driver’s license Organizational skills Reliable Strong People Skills: Teamwork Motivation Communication Physical Requirements Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items Initiating and responding to public address system announcements Frequent and regular walking and standing Lifting twenty-five (25) pounds or more Able to drive forklift and sump truck Management has the right to add or change these duties of the position at any time.
