As an Access Control Officer supporting a large medical facility in Newport News, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access through verifying identity, documenting, providing them a visitors badge and retrieving the badge when they are leaving, and maintain a professional presence and attitude that helps deter security-related incidents.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedules available: FT 8AM - 4PM Fri

• Tues 4PM - 12AM Fri, Sat and 7AM - 3PM Wed, Thurs 4PM - 12AM Sun
• Thurs 12AM - 8AM Wed
• Sun PT 12AM - 8AM Mon and Tues Must be DCJS ARMED certified Duties include: Access control to the medical facility. Patrolling the facility Checking in all visitors Communicating with various staff on visitors and/or issues occurring Other duties as assigned by Account Manager and/or our client Requirements• This job requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, walking, running, carrying and climbing. Requires infrequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.
