Part Time Library Ed Tech III

Monroe Elementary School and Troy Central School are seeking a dynamic and organized Educational Technician III � Library Technician to join our team. This part-time position (2 days per week) involves working with K�5 students to foster a love of reading and lifelong learning, as well as maintaining the daily operations of the school library.

Key Responsibilities

Lead weekly library classes for students in grades K�5, focusing on literacy, digital citizenship, and library skills Collaborate with classroom teachers to support literacy and curriculum goals Circulate and shelve library materials; maintain an organized, welcoming, and inclusive library environment Manage inventory and cataloging of books and resources using library management software Assist students in selecting appropriate reading materials Promote reading through displays, book talks, and school-wide events Maintain library equipment and troubleshoot basic tech issues as needed Ed Tech III Certification and CHRC ( Criminal History Record Check) required or ability to obtain upon employment.
