Poultry Service Manager

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
We do not expect this job to require more than 5 nights away per year, but daily travel to multiple farm sites in the given territory is expected You oversee producer’s care for both pullet and layer flocks through daily farm visits and documentation review You assist producers in obtaining optimal flock performance and diagnose issues related to poultry production You perform and oversee vaccination of flocks You assist business manager with coordinating flock movements You ensure that producers are following all required FDA, organic and humane standards You oversee that bio-security protocols are being followed You communicate any issues to our nutrition team and business managers You assist with document preparation for flock management and regulatory compliance You have frequent interaction with employees from all parts of the organization You may have other duties related to servicing poultry flocks to be assigned Qualifications You have and maintain a valid driver’s license High school diploma required, College degree preferred Desire to work with poultry on a daily basis Works well in a close team environment.
Excellent verbal and written skills. High sense of urgency when completing tasks Ability to manage customers and producer relationships Works well with minimal supervision once learning curve has been achieved. Ability to learn IT systems in order to manage flock data and performance (CRM, performance tracking tools, Word, Excel, etc.)
