Job Title: Arborist Sales Representative Location: York Schedule: Monday-Friday ABOUT KEYSTONE ARBORIST Keystone Arborist provides professional tree care for homes, businesses, and properties across Central Pennsylvania, including Harrisburg, Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, York, Lancaster, and Hershey. Our services include tree removal, pruning and trimming, stump grinding, storm and emergency response, and plant health care.

On the sales side, that means educating customers, quoting honestly, and earning the trust that turns one job into a long-term relationship. We're looking for amazing people to join our team (more specifically, a SALES REPRESENTATIVE). You enjoy walking a property with a customer, spotting what others miss, and explaining the work in plain terms. You take pride in giving fast, accurate, honest estimates and following up until the job is won. Whether you're an experienced estimator, a sales rep from another trade, or just starting out in sales, you're coachable, competitive, and comfortable managing your own schedule and territory.

Overall Purpose The Sales Representative drives revenue growth by generating leads, performing on-site property evaluations, and converting estimates into booked work. This role is the face of Keystone Arborist for homeowners, property managers, and commercial customers, and plays a direct part in keeping our crews busy, our customers satisfied, and our reputation strong across Central Pennsylvania.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Sales & Business Development Generate leads through networking, referrals, and local outreach Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess tree removal needs Prepare and present estimates for tree cutting, trimming, and removal services Close sales and maintain strong client relationships Site Evaluation & Estimating Inspect properties to evaluate tree condition, risk, and accessibility Identify hazards (power lines, structures, terrain, etc.)
Accurately define scope of work and pricing Coordinate scheduling with operations and clients Project Coordination & Customer Experience Serve as the main point of contact from estimate through job completion Ensure clear communication between client and crew Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction Handle change orders, concerns, or adjustments professionally Follow up for reviews, referrals, and repeat business Desired Skills & Experience: 1+ year of sales or estimating experience (tree care, landscaping, or home services preferred) Working knowledge of tree care, or willingness to learn and pursue ISA certification Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a territory and schedule independently Comfort with CRM and estimating software, smartphones, and basic office tools Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to walk properties in all weather conditions The Full Package Health insurance options (medical, dental, vision) 401k retirement plan with company match Paid holidays and PTO Paid training and professional growth potential Our mission is simple: care for the trees and properties of Central Pennsylvania with honesty, skill, and a commitment to safety.
