Maintenance Technician 1- Overnight Shift

Description The third shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of food processing and packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a high level of performance, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a sense of urgency when inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment.

The technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and maintaining food safety, quality, and operational standards through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities . Some of the duties and responsibilities may include: Operates at level of apprentice with sense of urgency to learn all plant processing/packaging equipment issues.

Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics on plant processing/packaging equipment. Maintains proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP) and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

Availability to work Monday through Friday 10:00pm-6:00am Minimum High School diploma 1 to 3 years industrial maintenance experience Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness Able to lift 50 lbs intermittently Good industrial electrical knowledge.
