Posting Title: Urologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹300,000 to ₹400,000 LPM Work Experience: 0-2 years --- ### Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
- Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer, and urological malignancies.
- Perform minimally invasive and open surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
- Laparoscopic and robotic-assisted urological surgeries
- Endourological procedures (e.g., ureteroscopy, cystoscopy, laser lithotripsy)
- Reconstructive urology surgeries (e.g., urethral strictures, bladder augmentation)
- Renal transplant evaluations and surgical follow-up (preferred)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and transplant coordinators, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency urological interventions as required.
- Stay current with advancements in urology through continuous medical education, research, and professional development.
- Mentor and support junior medical staff and residents in clinical and surgical training. --- ### Requirements
- MBBS degree with MD/MS in Urology or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and full license to practice.
- Proven experience in performing endourological procedures, laparoscopic surgeries, and reconstructive urology.
- Demonstrated expertise in renal transplant procedures is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical and surgical acumen with precision, dexterity, and decision-making under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly to patients and families.
- Proficiency in using advanced surgical equipment and digital health platforms for documentation and procedure planning.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous quality improvement.
- Willingness to participate in hospital committees, audits, and quality assurance initiatives. --- ### Additional Notes
