Con-Pearl South Carolina - Converting Operator C

TITLE: Converting Operator C POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Converting Operator(s) are responsible for producing a good quality edge and/or cuts on each trim board while also maintaining all equipment. This is done primarily by training, operating, and maintaining the Converting machinery so that customer satisfaction of the product is maximized.

QUALIFICATIONS

H.S. graduate or equivalent. 3 months or more Converting Operations experience. Good oral and written communication skills. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Report directly to the Supervisor of the Converting Department. Promotes the safe use of equipment and adherence to the plant safety rules. Interact, as instruct, with maintenance to minimize the time required for equipment repairs on Converting equipment. Keep area clean at all times. Fill out all required reports. Produce a good edge seal and/or saw cut for each trim board.

Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required. Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace. WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Manufacturing environment Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions Subject to noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body Inteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
