Part-time Receptionist

What You’ll Handle

UNMB Home Loans Inc is seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team in Levittown, NY. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule Monday-Friday, 9-2pm or 12-5pm at $18-$20/hour. This entry-level role is responsible for creating a positive first impression for clients, partners, and visitors while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front office.

Key responsibilities include

greeting and directing visitors, alerting team members when guests arrive, keeping the reception area and kitchen orderly and secure, and providing general clerical/administrative support. Tasks may include answering phones, filing and paperwork, scanning/faxing, sending emails, distributing the mail, entering mortgage information into a database, light social media marketing, and occasional office errands.

Qualifications/skills:

• At least 1 year of receptionist/front desk experience
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Strong phone presence; comfortable with follow-up calls (not cold-calling)
• Organized, adaptable, and reliable with follow-through
• Working knowledge of basic office software; able to use copier/printer/scanner

Your Typical Shift

You’ll arrive for the midday handoff, get the front desk set for the afternoon, and settle into a steady rhythm of helping people as they come in or reach out. As the day wraps, you’ll make sure items are logged, the workspace is reset, and the office is ready for the next morning’s start.
