Als Shift Leader Maintenance bij Toyota Automated Logistics op onze locatie Ridderkerk (Zuid-Holland) ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing van het maintenance team binnen een van de meest geavanceerde geautomatiseerde distributiecentra van Nederland.

Je combineert technische expertise met operationeel leiderschap en zorgt ervoor dat storingen, onderhoudswerkzaamheden en verbeterinitiatieven veilig, efficiënt en volgens prioriteit worden uitgevoerd. Daarmee speel je een cruciale rol in de continuïteit van de logistieke operatie van onze klant Van Gelder. Jouw impact Je geeft leiding aan het maintenance team tijdens jouw dienst en bewaakt een veilige en efficiënte uitvoering van werkzaamheden.

Je stelt prioriteiten op basis van veiligheid, systeembeschikbaarheid, operationele impact en klantbehoeften. Je coördineert de opvolging van technische storingen en complexe incidenten binnen de geautomatiseerde installatie. Je ondersteunt monteurs bij troubleshooting en schakelt tijdig specialistische ondersteuning in wanneer nodig.

Je bewaakt de voortgang van onderhoudsactiviteiten, openstaande acties en technische meldingen. Je verzorgt duidelijke ploegoverdrachten en onderhoudt nauw contact met Operations, de Flow Controller en andere stakeholders. Je stimuleert continue verbetering op het gebied van veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid, beschikbaarheid en teamontwikkeling.

Wie wij zoeken? MBO 4 werk- en denkniveau, bij voorkeur in Mechatronica, Elektrotechniek, Werktuigbouwkunde of Industriële Automatisering. Ervaring binnen een technische onderhouds-, productie-, service- of logistieke omgeving met geautomatiseerde systemen. Sterke kennis van mechanische en elektrische storingsanalyse en onderhoud.

Ervaring met het coördineren of begeleiden van technische medewerkers, formeel of informeel. Je communiceert duidelijk, neemt eigenaarschap en kunt onder operationele druk prioriteiten stellen en beslissingen nemen. Wat wij je bieden? Deze functie biedt een marktconform salaris beginnend vanaf een 3400,- euro tot 4100,- euro bruto per maand afhankelijk van jouw ervaring en expertise.

As a Shift Leader Maintenance at Toyota Automated Logistics in Ridderkerk (South Holland), you will be responsible for leading the maintenance operation during your shift within one of the most advanced automated distribution centres in the Netherlands.

This role combines hands-on technical expertise with operational leadership. You will coordinate maintenance activities, manage technical incidents, support your team, and ensure system availability while contributing directly to the success of our customer, Van Gelder. Your Impact Lead and coordinate the maintenance team during your shift while promoting a safe and professional working environment.

Prioritize technical activities based on safety, operational impact, system availability, and customer requirements. Coordinate the response to technical faults, breakdowns, and complex incidents within the automated system. Support technicians with troubleshooting activities and engage specialist support when required.

Monitor maintenance activities, outstanding issues, alarms, and technical follow-up actions. Act as the key operational contact between the maintenance team, customer operation, Flow Controller, and engineering support functions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, performance, and team development.

What makes you a great fit? MBO Level 4 working and thinking level or equivalent technical qualification, preferably in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Automation. Experience within an automated maintenance, production, logistics, or service environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting principles.

Experience coordinating, mentoring, or leading technical professionals in a shift-based environment. A proactive mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to make decisions under operational pressure. What you can look forward to? This position offers a competitive salary starting from 3400 up to 4300 euro gross per month aligned with your knowledge and experience.
