About Company: Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is a professional consulting firm specializing in construction inspection and compliance services for public infrastructure projects. Our core services include on-site inspection of roadway, bridge, and utility construction to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements.

About the Role

The Fire Protection Engineer will provide fire protection and life-safety engineering services for USACE facilities and infrastructure projects. Location: Position is on-site (Location to be determined) Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience designing or reviewing fire protection systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

USACE experience preferred. Professional Engineer license preferred. Federal or military facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and review fire suppression and life-safety systems. Perform hydraulic calculations and system evaluations. Review fire alarm and sprinkler coordination. Conduct code reviews and hazard assessments. Review submittals and shop drawings. Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and acceptance. Skills: NFPA, fire suppression, sprinkler systems, fire alarms, life safety, hydraulic calculations, code compliance, and technical review.
