Shipping - 1st Shift

Manufacturer of Premium Meat Products in Fort Atkinson Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 135 years, is searching for 1st Shift – Shipping Room Helper employees to help satisfy our growing needs. Position Summary

Shipping employees are responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant movement of goods, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming deliveries for damage, discrepancies, or missing items, and report issues promptly Retrieve items from storage, package them securely, and attach correct labels and/or documentation Prepare shipping and receiving reports, update shipment tracking data, and report irregularities or delays to supervisors Follow company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations Completion of routine paperwork Obtain and process product orders, register deliveries, and distribute packages Organize, clean, and stock; count inventory; and maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs Schedule large shipments, plan storage space Assist with troubleshooting shipping issues Preferred Qualifications: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

, stand, walk, twist, push, pull, bend and tolerate repetitive movements Ability to work in a freezer/cooler environment (-0 to 32+ degrees) Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Basic level of reading, writing, counting, and label-checking skills Perform daily tasks while following all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety guidelines.
