Product Developer

OUR BUSINESS: At The Silver Spoon Company we have a portfolio of iconic brands including Silver Spoon, Allinson’s, Billington’s, Askey’s and Crusha and we have strong ambition to drive growth in the Home Baking, Sweetening and Dessert Sauces categories. THE ROLE: The product developer will lead the development and delivery of NPD & EPD across the portfolio of branded and PL products from concept to launch.

This includes, working with Marketing and PL leads to optimise and scope product briefs, delivering hands-on product prototypes and development, product specification, product showcasing with internal and external stakeholders - ultimately delivering commercially viable product solutions to drive portfolio relevance and growth.

THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a strong interest in food, innovation, and consumer trends. Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced environments, with a strong desire to learn and develop.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience or qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Product Development, or a related field being advantageous. Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, product development, food legislation, and stage-gate methodologies would be beneficial.
