Independent Living Specialist

NDEPENDENT LIVING SPECIALIST Justice. Works Youth. Care Location: Luzerne County, PA Schedule: Part Time (Some evenings and weekends required) Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Justice. Works Youth. Care is seeking a Part-Time Independent Living Specialist to support youth in developing the life skills needed for independent living and successful transition into adulthood.

What you will do

Provide one-on-one mentoring and life skills coaching to youth Support youth in building independent living skills such as budgeting, employment readiness, and daily living Assist youth with education planning, career exploration, and job readiness Provide guidance on financial literacy and budgeting Help youth access community resources including housing, education, and employment services Assist youth in obtaining items through the stipend incentive program Qualifications High School Diploma required Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance Ability to pass applicable clearances Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Justice.
