Applicants with qualified certified BCOT prior experience may be eligible for higher placement/salary in the step plan. * * * $3,000 HIRING INCENTIVE * * * This position offers a one-time $3,000 hiring incentive to be paid in $1,000 increments (not added to base salary). Eligible newly-hired Correctional Officer candidates will receive an incremental hiring incentive upon documented satisfactory job performance as follows: After successfully completing 3 months of employment (Payment #1), after successfully completing 6 months of employment (Payment #2), and after successfully completing 12 months of employment (Payment #3) for a grand total of $3,000.
