Hancock Daniel , a nationally recognized law firm, is hiring a civil litigation Associate Attorney with experience in complex defense work or insurance litigation to join our Litigation Team in Richmond, Virginia. What You’ll Do You'll be trusted with meaningful, hands-on litigation work from the start, including: Case evaluation and strategy development Client interaction and collaboration with experienced partners Engagement with experts Pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep Courtroom exposure and growth as a litigator We believe in investing in your development and will provide personalized mentorship , substantive experience , and opportunities to advance.

Who We’re Looking For J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in Virginia, or ability to waive in 0-3 years of litigation experience Strong legal research and writing skills A commitment to exceptional client service and continuous learning At the time of posting, the expected hiring range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000.

An individual’s placement within the range will be determined based on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, training, skills, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
