Imaging Assistant

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION A member of the healthcare team who supports the radiology team by transporting patients and assisting with patient care, including some clerical duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional/Educational High School graduate or equivalent preferred Certified by IDPH as a CNA or successful completion of the first level of RN or Radiology clinical education#or comparable healthcare education required. Medical terminology preferred. Computer experience preferred. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. # Personal Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty. Ability to follow directions accurately. Has the ability to work very closely with all employees, patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital employees.
