****POSITION SUMMARY:  **** FedEx Office is building a same day autonomous delivery service powered by Roxo, the FedEx SameDay Bot.   The Product Manager is responsible for researching, planning, and leading the successful incubation and commercialization of this innovative service and new to the world set of technologies.   This role will be accountable for the profitability and customer delight of the service.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended to be all-inclusive)

  • Under minimal supervision, support the creation and refinement of an autonomous same day delivery product strategy.
  • Identify, validate, and refine key business model assumptions, including value proposition, pricing, and business justifications through product incubation.
  • Collaborate with other SameDay Bot business owners on defining the roadmap of features, target markets and supported use cases for commercialization
  • Perform market sizing, competitive assessments and other market-based research.
  • Maximize profit and sales potential of the SameDay Bot service through effective pricing and go to market strategies.
  • Leverage customer-centered design methods to empathize and deeply understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Support the preparation and management of business plans and performance tracking processes to monitor and evaluate SameDay Bot-related service success.
  • Partner in negotiations for favorable terms with 3rd parties and vendors.
  • Present status of product strategies and ideas to all levels of management.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross functional, global stakeholders across the FedEx enterprise.
  • Manage and resolve concerns and/or feedback related to the product.
  • Resolve problems and makes recommendations related to highly complex and interrelated matters and projects.
  • All other duties as needed or required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • MBA or equivalent Master’s degree is preferred
  • 5+ years related experience in a Product Management or related role
  • Experience in Product Management, preferably in logistics, transportation, autonomous delivery or related industry
  • Experience with Customer-Centered Design methods or Design Thinking methods a plus
  • Experience in defining and commercializing innovative products using in market piloting methods
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and approach to new product development
  • For new hires, must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications in force at time of   hiring

  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the FedEx Office business; regular attendance and/or reporting could include regular attendance at a physical location and/or maintaining established business hours depending on the scope and nature of the position
