• Thibodaux , LA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: 8-5, Personal Lines Client Services Riviere Insurance Agency Reports to: Ricky Alston, Insurance Sales Agent Hours: Monday-Friday 8am- 5pm Essential Duties: Provide courteous and competent customer service in person, by phone, email or other means. Complete and process insurance applications. Exchange information from customers with insurance carriers in order to obtain quotes from the insurers of terms and premiums, and then bind insurance policies. Process customers’ requests for changes in coverage. Follow up on all insurance claims until closed. Process new and renewal business. Attend training, meetings and seminars as requested. Cross train for others’ duties, including switchboard. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Customer Services Skills Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office systems Louisiana Property and Casualty Insurance License, either currently held or willing and able to obtain within one year of employment Requirements: While performing duties, the employee is required to sit, stand, stoop, lift up to 5 pounds & the ability to communicate effectively with others, and may be required to work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings/trainings and/or travel.

Interact professionally with other employees, customers and contacts. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
