You will: Provide health maintenance care, including well-child and sick-child exams. Job Summary
The role of the pediatric primary care midlevel provider is to provide care to children from birth through 18 years of age with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary healthcare including well childcare and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions. This care is provided to support optimal health of children within the context of their family, community, and environmental setting.
Adheres to all office policies and procedures and the employee manual. Essential Job Duties: Provides health maintenance care, including well-child and sick-child exams. Manages routine developmental screenings Provides Diagnosis and treatments for common childhood illnesses Teaches and counsels children and their families on issues related to health Performs selected administrative duties and assists physicians as part of the clinical team Provides accurate and prompt documentation for all patients Maintains information of patient handouts and assists with office newsletter as appropriate Knowledge of medical equipment and common safety hazards and precautions, OSHA, knowledge of computers and EHR systems.
Ability to maintain excellent communication skills, confidentiality, and work well with children of all ages, and their parents/legal guardians. Contributes to the development of policies and procedures. Ability to manage caseload as assigned by physician or practice manager. Provides courteous and professional service to patients and their families Participates in quality improvement initiatives Performs other related work as required by their supervisor.

The occasional physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling.
