Labourer

We are currently hiring a full-time permanent Labourer to join our growing Shipping & Receiving Team. Load and unload shipments. Assist in the maintenance of the inventory of structural steel, construction materials, and associated hardware for telecommunications infrastructure.

Sort, count, and package various structural steel parts and hardware associated with telecommunications infrastructure. Store materials in an orderly manner. Operate various hand tools and power tools as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support shippers and receivers with the coordination of materials during job progress.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Able to read a metric tape measure. Good work ethic. Positive attitude. Physical ability to lift 50lb. Possess a valid driver’s license. Able to work independently in a busy environment. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Able to work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Computer literate.

Able to work outdoors. Forklift license preferred but not required.
