About Overwatch Mission Critical Overwatch is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) delivering mission-critical construction, professional services, talent acquisition, and general contractor solutions. Our internship program is designed to develop future leaders through meaningful work, executive exposure, and hands-on business experience.   Program Overview The Overwatch Leadership Development Internship Program is an immersive experience that combines cross-functional rotations, executive engagement, leadership development, public speaking, project-based learning, and mentorship. Interns are expected to think critically, contribute ideas, and challenge conventional thinking while learning how high-performing organizations operate.  

Key Responsibilities

Participate in rotational assignments across multiple business functions. Collaborate with leaders and subject matter experts on real business initiatives and operational challenges. Attend weekly leadership development sessions focused on communication, accountability, decision-making, and professional growth. Develop public speaking confidence through recurring presentations to peers, managers, and senior leaders. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, or performance. Work as part of a high-performing team to complete projects and business challenges. Engage directly with executive leadership to gain insight into organizational strategy and decision-making. Qualifications

Required Current enrollment in an accredited college or university. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently when needed. Professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams and contribute positively to group objectives.   Preferred   Creative and out-of-the-box thinker who is comfortable with challenging assumptions and proposing innovative solutions. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify trends, and make recommendations. Natural curiosity and a desire to understand how organizations operate and solve problems. Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, leaders, and stakeholders from different backgrounds and functions. Demonstrated leadership experience through work, athletics, military service, student organizations, volunteer efforts, or community involvement. Comfortable speaking in front of groups and presenting ideas to leadership audiences. Adaptability and resilience when working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
