Care tlc, has an opportunity for a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team.

We. Care tlc operates a health center for the employees and dependents of our client. The Medical Assistant under the supervision of the Health Center Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting in the delivery of occupational, primary, urgent, and emergent care in an ambulatory setting with emphasis on prevention, treatment, and health maintenance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have strong phlebotomy skills. Effective communication skills, high level of customer service and ability to work as a member of a team. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic human anatomy.

Requirements

Prior Experience and Education Required Must have through education or training in the basics of medical terminology. Must have a Highschool diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, PCT or CNA Current CPR/BLS Preferred Successful completion and graduation from a medical assistant program Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) Phlebotomy experience If you want to join an organization you can be proud of, we’d like to talk to you!
