Quantitative Analyst / AI Junior Engineer Pompano Beach, Florida | Full-Time | 100% On-Site Salary: $55,000–$75,000 Turn Your Potential into Opportunity. Southern Auto Finance Company (SAFCO) seeks a Quantitative Analyst / AI Junior Engineer to apply advanced SQL, quantitative analysis, and AI-driven automation to quality assurance, business operations, and servicing performance.

New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Professional experience is welcome but not required; relevant skills may come from coursework, internships, research, capstone projects, or personal technical projects. What You’ll Do Extract, combine, clean, validate, and analyze data using advanced SQL. Apply statistical methods and build models to identify trends, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements.

Help develop and implement AI tools to automate quality assurance reviews, reporting, and business workflows. Build dashboards and reports supporting servicing, collections, and operational decisions. Analyze portfolio performance, customer payment behavior, and employee productivity. Partner with business leaders to test strategies, measure results, and communicate practical recommendations.

Maintain data accuracy and explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science. Advanced SQL proficiency and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Attention to detail, commitment to data accuracy, and clear written and verbal communication. Initiative and the ability to manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and machine learning is a plus. Python or a similar analytical programming language. Statistical modeling, Power BI, Tableau, data pipelines, or workflow automation experience. Work Location This role requires working in-office five days per week at SAFCO’s Pompano Beach headquarters.
