Scheduler for Physical Therapy

PT/OT Scheduler provides all aspects of rehabilitation test scheduling coordination for therapy ordered by providers. PT scheduling includes scheduling all initial evaluations for both post-operative rehabilitation and non-operative cases. PT/OT schedulers schedule tests at designated clinics as well as coordinating services with other outside facilities. Test Scheduler gathers pertinent information from insurance carriers, other ancillary staff, and patients. Scheduler provides ongoing communication with the patient regarding the scheduling process and scans all related paperwork into the patient chart. Schedulers must have knowledge of insurances, commonly-used scheduling concepts, ancillary practices, and testing procedures.
